About Manolito Sulit
I specialize in project management for online awareness campaigns in key areas of web development, content creation, online marketing and search engine optimization. In 2005, the University of Santo Tomas Publishing House published my book of poems, Ibang Daan Pauwi (A Different Way Home), which was among the five finalists in UP’s Best First Book Award the following year. In 2007, my full-length indie film, Barako, featured in an exhibition at the Cultural Center of the Philippines and was subsequently released in 2008 at the Indie Sine, Robinson’s Galeria. I have made my more recent collection of poems, Nang Tayo’y Matubos (That We May Be Saved), available to the public on Facebook (my FB fan page, Manolito Castillo Sulit) while exploring other non-conventional means for dissemination or popularization. I graduated in 1993 with a Journalism degree and the prestigious Benavidez Achievement Award from the University of Santo Tomas, and had a rich 16-year experience in media, academe, creative industries, culture and business, before venturing into outsourcing with my own Sulit Outsourcing Services (S.O.S.) and Remote Reliance, a social entrepreneurship pioneering a community-based outsourcing model that I help develop for my hometown, Ibaan, where I also work from home for my online clients.
